Design According to Hermitage Modular — Tarpéia Modular
: Architectural Art, Rigorous Proportions, and Spatial Emotion
At Hermitage Modular — Tarpéia Modular, design is not limited to the pursuit of mere functionality.
It is a calling, a demanding discipline, and a way of interpreting the world.
We hold the fundamental belief that a high-end modular home must go beyond serving as a mere shelter
to become a place of fulfillment, serenity, and harmony with its surroundings.
A Philosophy of Balance: Between Rigor and Elegance
For Hermitage Modular, design is not a fleeting trend—it is a way of life. We create clean, minimalist forms where simplicity meets elegance, and where every line finds its purpose within the space.
Inspired by the power of nature, the purity of mountain landscapes, and the precision of ancient Mediterranean architecture (the Tarpéia legacy, rooted in Greek tradition and DPLG governance), our designs prioritize light, durability, and absolute comfort.
“Architecture is a way of life.” — I. M. Pei
This philosophy underpins our approach: to use engineering and design to promote well-being, spatial clarity, and timeless beauty.
The Perfect Harmony Between Form and Function
Our residences and modular units combine high-quality design with construction efficiency:
Balanced geometric proportions and spacious interiors.
High-quality, durable materials: high-strength galvanized steel frames, aerospace-grade PVDF-coated aluminum siding, Low-E laminated glass, and rot-resistant composite wood.
Comprehensive architectural customization: interior and exterior finishes tailored to each landscape (alpine, coastal, forested, or urban).
European architectural style: a meticulously designed concept approved by a DPLG-certified architect to ensure seamless integration into any setting.
Each model in the Hermitage and Tarpéia lines is designed to be versatile, durable, eco-friendly, and inspiring.
Design at the Heart of the Industrial Matrix
Our approach to design is directly integrated into the very structure of the 3D module, starting with the very first lines of the 3D model:
Harnessing natural light: floor-to-ceiling windows oriented to maximize bioclimatic benefits.
A timeless color palette: neutral, earthy, and elegant shades that highlight the purity of the structures.
The interplay of open and enclosed spaces: a constant quest for the right balance between panoramic views and preserved privacy.
Seamless integration of technology: advanced home automation, integrated solar panels, and quiet dual-flow ventilation.
Our homes do not seek to be ostentatious; they seek fluidity, serenity, and excellence in everyday life.
The Hermitage & Tarpéia Signature: Transcontinental Authenticity
The Hermitage Modular—Tarpéia Modular brand is the result of an exceptional journey. Shaped by experiences in France, the Alps, Hong Kong, and mainland China, this vision combines the conceptual rigor of a DPLG-certified architect with expertise in cutting-edge industrial ecosystems.
This dual heritage gives rise to a collection of modular living spaces that is universal, minimalist, and deeply human, offering the luxury of a space tailored to contemporary needs.
Art as Inspiration: The Chromatic Dialogue
Visual art remains a fundamental source of inspiration in our creative process.
Our collaborations and exchanges with renowned contemporary artists, such asAlain Ozanne, reflect our ongoing quest for visual emotion, rhythm, and chromatic depth. His explorations of color and the vibrancy of materials engage naturally with our architectural structures.
Pablo Picasso in Hong Kong — The Emotion of Universal Art
The emotion evoked by great masterpieces reminds us that form and space are universal languages.
Presented as part of the prestigious exhibition *The Hong Kong Jockey Club Series: Picasso for Asia* at the M+ Museum in West Kowloon, Hong Kong, this encounter with the work of Pablo Picasso illustrates the power of the dialogue between contemporary architecture and European artistic creation.
At the heart of the M+ Museum, the modern architectural structure serves to highlight the poetic and visual power of the artworks, offering Asia a unique cultural bridge.
This interplay between art, light, and the built environment guides every aspect of our work: designing architecture that stands the test of time with elegance and serenity.
